Ever wondered what to do with all those photos on your smartphone that seem destined just to sit there for eternity? Install Tango Music Pix and you can do something constructive with them, creating animated slideshows set to music then sharing these memories with your friends and family.
Pic and mix
Tango Music Pix lets you select up-to 10 photos from your device, then add a backing track from a selection of royalty-free songs. You can then give it a title and export this 30-second snapshot of your life, sharing it via email, Facebook, Twitter, or through Tango Messenger.
The features of Tango Music Pix are quite limited, especially when compared to photo presentation apps such as PicFlow or Pixgram. For example, you can't reorder images once selected, there are no transition effects or captions, and the only music you can add is from the catalog of Tango's licensing partner, Rumblefish (which although large, doesn't cover most popular music). What's more, you can't set the start time of the music or choose the amount of time each image is displayed for.
Quick and easy
Limitations aside, Tango Music Pix is fun and simple to use. The step-by-step editor makes it possible to select your photos, then choose your music and add a title all within just a few seconds.
Sharing is very straightforward, too. All of the various sharing options and clearly displayed at the end of the creation process and it's just a case of tapping the medium you want to use. There's an option to just copy the link to the presentation so you can share it via other means (SMS, WhatsApp, etc.) if you want.
Make memories last longer
If you've just had a good day out and are too tired to spend lots of time editing a presentation of your photos, Tango Music Pix makes for a quick way to put your best snaps together and share them in an interesting way.
If it's a powerful photo slideshow editor you want, you should look elsewhere though, since it's difficult to get very creative with Tango Music Pix.
